(Glenrock, Wyo.)—Mountain-Pacific presented 12 Wyoming hospitals with its prestigious Hospital Quality Awards during the Wyoming Hospital Association Annual Meeting and Convention. This year, hospitals were recognized for their performance on four national quality projects (acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical infection prevention) as well as leadership qualities, commitment to quality improvement and adherence to best practice standards of care. Mountain-Pacific’s long-standing efforts focus on promoting excellence in health care to ensure that the right care is provided to every person, every time. Hospital Quality Awards were created to recognize those hospitals that demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care.
