Mountain-Pacific provides education and consultation on continuous quality improvement to providers of health care services, including hospitals, nursing homes and physicians. We offer proven strategies and techniques that assist providers with setting goals and assessing performance through team building, management leadership and system change.
We also provide utilization review and authorization services to ensure health care services are medically necessary and appropriate. These review services include prior authorization of acute and long-term care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We also provide case management for high-cost or complex cases. Through our drug utilization review services, we share drug therapy information with providers and health care plans so inappropriate or unnecessary drug usage can be avoided. Additionally, we provide peer review of selected medical records for utilization and quality purposes.
