CONGRATULATIONS

to the 2014 Quality Award Winners!
Mountain-Pacific Quality Health has been serving health care communities in Montana since 1973. Our corporate office is located in Helena, Montana, and from this hub, quality improvement staff provide assistance for health care providers, stakeholders and patients as well as support for our affiliated corporations in Alaska, Hawaii and Wyoming.

Our goal is to ensure that the best quality health care is provided to every patient we serve, at the right time, every time. We convene providers, practitioners and patients to build and share knowledge, spread best practices and achieve rapid, wide-scale improvements in patient care, increases in population health and decreases in health care costs for all.

In addition to partnering with Medicare to improve health care through quality improvement, Mountain-Pacific also provides medical utilization review and management services for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. These services include preadmission/prior authorization review, concurrent review, continued/extended-stay review and retrospective review. Mountain-Pacific has been performing medical case review for specific Medicaid contracts since 1974.Through our review process, we strive to enable each Medicaid client to get his or her needs met in the most appropriate, cost-effective setting, using the most appropriate medical service, equipment and supplies.

Finally, Health Technology Services (HTS), a division of Mountain-Pacific Quality Health is a federally designated Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center for the states of Montana and Wyoming. HTS offers technical assistance, guidance and information on best practices to support and accelerate health care providers’ efforts to become meaningful users of electronic health records (EHRs).
